حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ مُجَالِدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْوَدَّاكِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" يَخْطُبُ إِلَى لِزْقِ جِذْعٍ فَأَتَاهُ رَجُلٌ رُومِيٌّ، فَقَالَ : أَصْنَعُ لَكَ مِنْبَرًا تَخْطُبُ عَلَيْهِ، فَصَنَعَ لَهُ مِنْبَرًا هَذَا الَّذِي تَرَوْنَ، قَالَ : فَلَمَّا قَامَ عَلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ، حَنَّ الْجِذْعُ حَنِينَ النَّاقَةِ إِلَى وَلَدِهَا، فَنَزَلَ إِلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَضَمَّهُ إِلَيْهِ فَسَكَنَ، فَأَمَرَ بِهِ أَنْ يُحْفَرَ لَهُ وَيُدْفَنَ "
#2794 Abdullah bin Sa'id narrated to us, Abu Usama narrated to us, from Mujalid, from Abu al-Waddak, from Abu Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) used to deliver sermons while leaning against a tree trunk. A Roman man came to him and said: "I shall make for you a pulpit upon which you may deliver your sermons." So he made for him a pulpit, this one which you see. He said: When the Prophet (pbuh) stood upon it to deliver the sermon, the tree trunk yearned with the yearning of a she-camel for her offspring. So the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) descended to it and embraced it, and it became quiet. Then he commanded that a hole be dug for it and that it be buried.

I Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) mbante hutbe i mbështetur pas një trungu, kur i erdhi një burrë romak dhe i tha: "A të ndërtoj një minber mbi të cilin të mbash hutben?" Kështu, ai ia ndërtoi këtë minber që po shihni. Kur Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) u ngjit mbi të për të mbajtur hutbe, trungu rënkoi sikurse rënkon deveja për të voglin e saj. Atëherë i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) zbriti, e përqafoi dhe ai u qetësua. Pastaj urdhëroi që të hapet një gropë dhe ai të varroset.
