#2806 Abd Allah ibn Abd al-Hakam al-Misri informed us, Bakr ibn Mudar narrated to us, from Ja'far ibn Rabi'ah, from Salih—who is ibn Ata ibn Khabbab, the freedman of Banu al-Du'il—from 'Ata ibn Abi Rabah, from Jabir ibn Abd Allah (may Allah be pleased with them both), that the Prophet (pbuh) said: "I am the leader of the Messengers, and [I say this] without pride; and I am the Seal of the Prophets, and [I say this] without pride; and I am the first intercessor and the first whose intercession will be accepted, and [I say this] without pride."
