#2812 Muhammad ibn al-Mubarak related to us, Mu'awiyah ibn Yahya related to us, Artah ibn al-Mundhir related to us, from Damrah ibn Habib, who said: I heard Maslamah al-Sakuni—and others besides Muhammad said: Salamah al-Sakuni, may Allah be pleased with him—who said: While we were with the Messenger of Allah (pbuh), someone asked: "O Messenger of Allah, have you been brought food from heaven?" He replied: "Yes, I was brought food." He asked: "O Prophet of Allah, was there any leftover from it?" He replied: "Yes." He asked: "What was done with it?" He replied: "It was raised back to heaven. And it has been revealed to me that I shall not remain among you except for a little while, then you will remain until you say: 'When? When?' Then you will come to me in diverse groups, some of you destroying others. Before the Hour, there will be an intense mass death, and after it, years of earthquakes."
