#2849 Abu al-Nu'man narrated to us, Sa'id ibn Zayd narrated to us, 'Amr ibn Malik al-Nukri narrated to us, Abu al-Jawza' Aws ibn 'Abdullah narrated to us, who said: "The people of Medina suffered from a severe drought, so they complained to 'Aisha. She said: 'Look toward the grave of the Prophet (pbuh) and make an opening from it toward the sky so that there is no roof between it and the sky.' He said: So they did that, and it rained upon us until the grass grew and the camels became so fat that they were bursting from the fat, and thus it was named the Year of Bursting."
