أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، عَنْ الْعَوَّامِ ، عَنْ الْمُسَيَّبِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ ، قَالَ :" كَانُوا إِذَا نَزَلَتْ بِهِمْ قَضِيَّةٌ لَيْسَ فِيهَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَثَرٌ، اجْتَمَعُوا لَهَا وَأَجْمَعُوا، فَالْحَقُّ فِيمَا رَأَوْا، فَالْحَقُّ فِيمَا رَأَوْا "، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ ، عَنْ الْعَوَّامِ بِهَذَا
#2872 Amr ibn 'Awn informed us, Hushaym informed us, from al-Awwam, from al-Musayyib ibn Rafi', who said: "Whenever a matter arose before them for which there was no tradition from the Messenger of Allah (pbuh), they would gather for it and reach a consensus; then the truth was in what they saw, then the truth was in what they saw." Abdullah informed us, Yazid informed us, from al-Awwam with this.

Transmeton El-Musejjib bin Rafi': Kur u paraqitej ndonjë çështje për të cilën nuk kishte ndonjë gjurmë nga i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.), ata mblidheshin për të dhe arrinin konsensus, andaj e vërteta ishte në atë që ata shihnin si të drejtë, e vërteta ishte në atë që ata shihnin si të drejtë.
