أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ حُرَيْثِ بْنِ ظُهَيْرٍ L2353 ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ :" أَتَى عَلَيْنَا زَمَانٌ لَسْنَا نَقْضِي وَلَسْنَا هُنَالِكَ، وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ قَدَّرَ مِنْ الْأَمْرِ أَنْ قَدْ بَلَغْنَا مَا تَرَوْنَ، فَمَنْ عَرَضَ لَهُ قَضَاءٌ بَعْدَ الْيَوْمِ، فَلْيَقْضِ فِيهِ بِمَا فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ G فَإِنْ جَاءَهُ مَا لَيْسَ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ، فَلْيَقْضِ بِمَا قَضَى بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَإِنْ جَاءَهُ مَا لَيْسَ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ، وَلَمْ يَقْضِ بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَلْيَقْضِ بِمَا قَضَى بِهِ الصَّالِحُونَ، وَلَا يَقُلْ إِنِّي أَخَافُ، وَإِنِّي أُرَى، فَإِنَّ الْحَرَامَ بَيِّنٌ، وَالْحَلَالَ بَيِّنٌ، وَبَيْنَ ذَلِكَ أُمُورٌ مُشْتَبِهَةٌ، فَدَعْ مَا يَرِيبُكَ إِلَى مَا لَا يَرِيبُكَ "
#2922 Muhammad ibn Yusuf informed us, from Sufyan, from Al-A'mash, from 'Umarah ibn 'Umayr, from Hurayth ibn Zuhayr, from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: "A time passed over us when we did not judge and were not in such a position, but Allah has decreed from the matter that we have reached what you see. So, whoever is presented with a case for judgment after today, let him judge in it according to what is in the Book of Allah. If something comes to him that is not in the Book of Allah, then let him judge according to what the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) has judged. If something comes to him that is not in the Book of Allah and which the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) did not judge, then let him judge according to what the righteous have judged. And let him not say, 'I fear' or 'In my opinion,' for the forbidden is clear and the permitted is clear, and between them are ambiguous matters; so leave what makes you doubt for what does not make you doubt."

Transmeton Abdullah ibn Mes'udi: Ka kaluar një kohë mbi ne kur nuk jepnim gjykime dhe nuk ishim në atë pozitë, por Allahu e ka caktuar që ne të arrijmë në këtë gjendje që po shihni. Prandaj, ai që përballet me një çështje për të gjykuar pas kësaj dite, le të gjykojë sipas asaj që është në Librin e Allahut. Nëse i vjen diçka që nuk është në Librin e Allahut, le të gjykojë me atë që ka gjykuar i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.). E nëse i vjen diçka që nuk është në Librin e Allahut dhe për të cilën nuk ka gjykuar as i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.), atëherë le të gjykojë sipas asaj që kanë gjykuar të devotshmit. Dhe të mos thotë: "Unë kam frikë" apo "Unë mendoj se...", sepse harami është i qartë dhe hallalli është i qartë, ndërsa mes tyre ka gjëra të dyshimta. Prandaj, lere atë që të bën të dyshosh për atë që nuk të bën të dyshosh.
