أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ حُرَيْثِ بْنِ ظُهَيْرٍ L2353 ، قَالَ : أَحْسَبُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ :" قَدْ أَتَى عَلَيْنَا زَمَانٌ وَمَا نُسْأَلُ، وَمَا نَحْنُ هُنَاكَ، وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدَّرَ أَنْ بَلَغْتُ مَا تَرَوْنَ، فَإِذَا سُئِلْتُمْ عَنْ شَيْءٍ، فَانْظُرُوا فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ G فَإِنْ لَمْ تَجِدُوهُ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ فَفِي سُنَّةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَجِدُوهُ فِي سُنَّةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ، فَمَا أَجْمَعَ عَلَيْهِ الْمُسْلِمُونَ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ فِيمَا أَجْمَعَ عَلَيْهِ الْمُسْلِمُونَ، فَاجْتَهِدْ رَأْيَكَ، وَلَا تَقُلْ : إِنِّي أَخَافُ وَأَخْشَى، فَإِنَّ الْحَلَالَ بَيِّنٌ، وَالْحَرَامَ بَيِّنٌ، وَبَيْنَ ذَلِكَ أُمُورٌ مُشْتَبِهَةٌ، فَدَعْ مَا يَرِيبُكَ إِلَى مَا لَا يَرِيبُكَ "، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَن عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، نَحْوَهُ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَن عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، بِنَحْوِهِ

Yahya ibn Hammad informed us, Shu'bah narrated to us, on the authority of Sulayman, from 'Umarah ibn 'Umayr, from Hurayth ibn Zuhayr, who said: I think that 'Abdullah, may Allah be pleased with him, said: "A time came upon us when we were not asked [for legal verdicts], nor were we in such a position, but Allah has decreed that I have reached what you see. So, if you are asked about something, look for it in the Book of Allah. If you do not find it in the Book of Allah, then look in the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (pbuh). If you do not find it in the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (pbuh), then look to what the Muslims have reached a consensus upon. If it is not among what the Muslims have reached a consensus upon, then exert your own judgment, and do not say: 'I fear and I am afraid,' for the lawful is clear and the unlawful is clear, and between them are matters of ambiguity. So leave that which makes you doubt for that which does not make you doubt." Yahya ibn Hammad narrated to us, on the authority of Abu 'Awanah, from Sulayman, from 'Umarah ibn 'Umayr, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid, from 'Abdullah, similar to it. 'Abdullah ibn Muhammad informed us, Jarir narrated to us, on the authority of al-A'mash, from al-Qasim ibn 'Abd al-Rahman, from his father, from 'Abdullah, with something similar to it.

E nëse nuk është as në atë që janë pajtuar myslimanët, atëherë bëni ijtihad dhe mos thoni: "Unë kam frikë", sepse hallalli është i qartë dhe harami është i qartë, ndërsa midis tyre ka gjëra të dyshimta. Prandaj, lëre atë që të bën të dyshosh për atë që nuk të bën të dyshosh.
