أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ شريك ، عَنْ مُبَارَكٍ ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ ، قَالَ :" سُنَّتُكُمْ وَاللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ بَيْنَهُمَا : بَيْنَ الْغَالِي وَالْجَافِي، فَاصْبِرُوا عَلَيْهَا رَحِمَكُمْ اللَّهُ، فَإِنَّ أَهْلَ السُّنَّةِ كَانُوا أَقَلَّ النَّاسِ فِيمَا مَضَى، وَهُمْ أَقَلُّ النَّاسِ فِيمَا بَقِيَ : الَّذِينَ لَمْ يَذْهَبُوا مَعَ أَهْلِ الْإِتْرَافِ فِي إِتْرَافِهِمْ، وَلَا مَعَ أَهْلِ الْبِدَعِ فِي بِدَعِهِمْ، وَصَبَرُوا عَلَى سُنَّتِهِمْ حَتَّى لَقُوا رَبَّهُمْ، فَكَذَلِكُمْ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ فَكُونُوا "
#2975 Al-Husayn ibn Mansur informed us, Abu Usamah narrated to us, from Sharik, from Mubarak, from Al-Hasan, who said: "Your Sunnah, by Allah, besides whom there is no deity, is between the two: between the extremist and the negligent. So remain patient upon it, may Allah have mercy upon you; for indeed, the people of the Sunnah were the fewest of people in what has passed, and they are the fewest of people in what remains: those who did not go with the people of luxury in their luxury, nor with the people of innovation in their innovations, and they remained patient upon their Sunnah until they met their Lord. So be likewise, if Allah wills."

Vërtet, Ehli Sunneti ishin njerëzit më të paktë në të kaluarën dhe do të jenë njerëzit më të paktë në atë që ka mbetur: ata që nuk shkuan pas njerëzve të luksit në luksin e tyre, as pas njerëzve të bidateve në bidatet e tyre, por bënë durim në Sunnetin e tyre derisa takuan Zotin e tyre. Kështu bëhuni edhe ju, në dashtë Allahu.
