Al-Hakam bin al-Mubarak informed us, al-Walid bin Muslim informed us, al-Walid bin Sulayman informed us, from Ali bin Yazid, from al-Qasim Abi Abd al-Rahman, from Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Prophet (pbuh) who said: "There will be tribulations in which a man starts the morning as a believer and ends the evening as a disbeliever, except for those whom Allah revives through knowledge."
