أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ زِيَادِ بْنِ أَنْعُمَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، مَرَّ بِمَجْلِسَيْنِ فِي مَسْجِدِهِ، فَقَالَ :" كِلَاهُمَا عَلَى خَيْرٍ، وَأَحَدُهُمَا أَفْضَلُ مِنْ صَاحِبِهِ، أَمَّا هَؤُلَاءِ فَيَدْعُونَ اللَّهَ، وَيَرْغَبُونَ إِلَيْهِ، فَإِنْ شَاءَ أَعْطَاهُمْ، وَإِنْ شَاءَ مَنَعَهُمْ، وَأَمَّا هَؤُلَاءِ فَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ الْفِقْهَ وَالْعِلْمَ، وَيُعَلِّمُونَ الْجَاهِلَ، فَهُمْ أَفْضَلُ، وَإِنَّمَا بُعِثْتُ مُعَلِّمًا "، قَالَ : ثُمَّ جَلَسَ فِيهِمْ
#3110 Abdullah bin Yazid informed us, Abd al-Rahman bin Ziyad bin An'um narrated to us, from Abd al-Rahman bin Rafi', from Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both), that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) passed by two gatherings in his mosque and said: "Both are upon good, and one of them is superior to the other. As for these, they call upon Allah and turn to Him in desire; if He wills, He grants them, and if He wills, He withholds from them. As for those, they learn jurisprudence and knowledge, and teach the ignorant, so they are superior; and indeed, I was only sent as a teacher." He said: Then he sat with them.

Transmeton Abdullah bin Amri: I Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) kaloi pranë dy grupimeve në xhaminë e tij dhe tha: "Të dy janë në të mirë, por njëri prej tyre është më i vlefshëm se tjetri. Sa i përket këtyre, ata po i luten Allahut dhe kërkojnë prej Tij; nëse Ai dëshiron u jep, e nëse dëshiron nuk u jep. Ndërsa këta të tjerët po mësojnë fikhun dhe diturinë, dhe po i mësojnë të paditurit, prandaj ata janë më të vlefshëm. Unë jam dërguar vetëm si mësues." Pastaj ai u ul me ta.
