Hadith #3128 - Sunan ad-Darimi

أَخْبَرَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ صَاحِبِ الدَّسْتَوَائِيِّ، قَالَ : قَرَأْتُ فِي كِتَابٍ بَلَغَنِي أَنَّهُ مِنْ كَلَامِ عِيسَى عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ :" تَعْمَلُونَ لِلدُّنْيَا، وَأَنْتُمْ تُرْزَقُونَ فِيهَا بِغَيْرِ عَمَلٍ، وَلَا تَعْمَلُونَ لِلْآخِرَةِ، وَأَنْتُمْ لَا تُرْزَقُونَ فِيهَا إِلَّا بِالْعَمَلِ، ويْلَكُمْ عُلَمَاءَ السَّوْءِ : الْأَجْرَ تَأْخُذُونَ، وَالْعَمَلَ تُضَيِّعُونَ، يُوشِكُ رَبُّ الْعَمَلِ أَنْ يَطْلُبَ عَمَلَهُ، وَتُوشِكُونَ أَنْ تَخْرُجُوا مِنْ الدُّنْيَا الْعَرِيضَةِ إِلَى ظُلْمَةِ الْقَبْرِ وَضِيقِهِ، اللَّهُ يَنْهَاكُمْ عَنْ الْخَطَايَا، كَمَا أَمَرَكُمْ بِالصَّلَاةِ وَالصِّيَامِ، كَيْفَ يَكُونُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مَنْ سَخِطَ رِزْقَهُ، وَاحْتَقَرَ مَنْزِلَتَهُ، وَقَدْ عَلِمَ أَنَّ ذَلِكَ مِنْ عِلْمِ اللَّهِ وَقُدْرَتِهِ؟ كَيْفَ يَكُونُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مَنْ اتَّهَمَ اللَّهَ فِيمَا قَضَى لَهُ، فَلَيْسَ يَرْضَى شَيْئًا أَصَابَهُ؟ كَيْفَ يَكُونُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مَنْ دُنْيَاهُ آثَرُ عِنْدَهُ مِنْ آخِرَتِهِ، وَهُوَ فِي الدُّنْيَا أَفْضَلُ رَغْبَةً؟ كَيْفَ يَكُونُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مَنْ مَصِيرُهُ إِلَى آخِرَتِهِ، وَهُوَ مُقْبِلٌ عَلَى دُنْيَاهُ، وَمَا يَضُرُّهُ أَشْهَى إِلَيْهِ، أَوْ قَالَ : أَحَبُّ إِلَيْهِ مِمَّا يَنْفَعُهُ؟ كَيْفَ يَكُونُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مَنْ يَطْلُبُ الْكَلَامَ لِيُخْبِرَ بِهِ، وَلَا يَطْلُبُهُ لِيَعْمَلَ بِهِ؟ "

#3128 We were informed by Sa'd bin 'Amir, from Hisham, the companion of al-Dastawa'i, who said: I read in a book that reached me that it was from the speech of Jesus (pbuh): "You work for the world, yet you are provided for in it without work, and you do not work for the Hereafter, yet you are not provided for in it except through work. Woe to you, O evil scholars! You take the wages, yet you neglect the work. The Master of the work is about to demand His work, and you are about to depart from the expansive world into the darkness and narrowness of the grave. Allah forbids you from sins just as He commanded you to pray and fast. How can he be among the people of knowledge who is dissatisfied with his provision and belittles his station, when he knows that this is from the knowledge of Allah and His power? How can he be among the people of knowledge who blames Allah regarding what He has decreed for him, so he is not pleased with anything that befalls him? How can he be among the people of knowledge for whom his worldly life is more preferable than his Hereafter, and who possesses a greater desire for the world? How can he be among the people of knowledge whose destination is toward his Hereafter, yet he is devoted to his worldly life, and what harms him is more desirable to him—or he said: more beloved to him—than what benefits him? How can he be among the people of knowledge who seeks speech to report it, but does not seek it to act upon it?"

Transmeton Hishami: Lexova në një libër se prej fjalëve të Isait (a.s.) ishte: "Ju punoni për këtë botë, ndërkohë që në të furnizoheni pa punë, dhe nuk punoni për botën tjetër, ndërkohë që në të nuk furnizoheni veçse me punë. Mjerë për ju, o dijetarë të këqij: shpërblimin e merrni, kurse punën e shpërdoroni. Zoti i punës thuajse po kërkon punën e Tij, ndërsa ju thuajse po dilni nga kjo botë e gjerë drejt errësirës dhe ngushticës së varrit. Allahu ju ndalon nga gjynahet ashtu siç ju ka urdhëruar me Namazin dhe Agjërimin. Si mund të jetë prej njerëzve të dijes ai që është i pakënaqur me rizkun e tij dhe e nënçmon pozitën e tij, ndërkohë që e di se kjo është nga dija dhe fuqia e Allahut? Si mund të jetë prej njerëzve të dijes ai që e akuzon Allahun në atë që ka caktuar për të dhe nuk kënaqet me asgjë që i ndodh? Si mund të jetë prej njerëzve të dijes ai që këtë botë e ka më të dashur se botën tjetër dhe dëshira e tij është më e madhe për të? Si mund të jetë prej njerëzve të dijes ai që po udhëton drejt botës tjetër, por është i kthyer nga kjo botë, dhe ajo që i bën dëm i duket më e shijshme sesa ajo që i bën dobi? Si mund të jetë prej njerëzve të dijes ai që kërkon fjalën për t’ua treguar të tjerëve, por nuk e kërkon atë për të punuar me të?"
