Hadith #3151 - Sunan ad-Darimi

أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ أَبُو قِلَابَةَ :" لَا تُجَالِسُوا أَهْلَ الْأَهْوَاءِ وَلَا تُجَادِلُوهُمْ، فَإِنِّي لَا آمَنُ أَنْ يَغْمِسُوكُمْ فِي ضَلَالَتِهِمْ، أَوْ يَلْبِسُوا عَلَيْكُمْ مَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْرِفُونَ "

#3151 Sulayman ibn Harb informed us, from Hammad ibn Zayd, from Ayyub, who said: Abu Qilabah said: "Do not sit with the people of desires and do not argue with them, for indeed, I do not feel secure that they will plunge you into their misguidance or confuse for you that which you know."
