أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ :" إِذَا اسْتَأْذَنَتْ أَحَدَكُمْ امْرَأَتُهُ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ، فَلَا يَمْنَعْهَا "، فَقَالَ فُلَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ : إِذًا وَاللَّهِ أَمْنَعُهَا، فَأَقْبَلَ عَلَيْهِ ابْنُ عُمَرَ فَشَتَمَهُ شَتِيمَةً لَمْ أَرَهُ يَشْتِمُهَا أَحَدًا قَبْلَهُ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : أُحَدِّثُكَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَتَقُولُ : إِذًا وَاللَّهِ أَمْنَعُهَا ! !
#3201 Muhammad ibn Kathir informed us, from al-Awza'i, from al-Zuhri, from Salim, from Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "If the wife of one of you asks permission to go to the mosque, he should not prevent her." Then so-and-so, the son of 'Abdullah, said: "Then, by Allah, I will prevent her!" Whereupon Ibn 'Umar turned toward him and rebuked him with a severe rebuke, the likes of which I had never seen him give to anyone before, and then said: "I narrate to you from the Messenger of Allah (pbuh), and you say: 'Then, by Allah, I will prevent her!'"

Transmeton Ibn Umari se i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë: "Nëse gruaja e ndonjërit prej jush kërkon leje për të shkuar në xhami, ai të mos e pengojë atë." Atëherë i biri i tij tha: "Pasha Allahun, unë do ta pengoj atë!" Ibn Umari iu kthye atij dhe e qortoi me një qortim aq të ashpër sa nuk e kisha parë kurrë të qortonte dikë më parë, e pastaj i tha: "Unë po të tregoj se çfarë ka thënë i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.), ndërsa ti thua: 'Pasha Allahun, do ta pengoj!'"
