Isma'il bin Aban informed us, Ibn Idris narrated to us, from Ibn 'Awn, who said: "I saw Hammad writing in the presence of Ibrahim, so Ibrahim said to him: 'Did I not forbid you?' He replied: 'They are merely brief notes.'"
