Ahmad bin Isa informed us, Ibn Wahb narrated to us, on the authority of Mu'awiya, on the authority of Al-Hasan bin Jabir, that he asked Abu Umama al-Bahili, may Allah be pleased with him, about the writing down of knowledge, and he said: "There is no harm in that."
