أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ خَيْثَمَةَ ، قَالَ : كَانَ الْحَارِثُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ الْجُعْفِيُّ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، وَكَانُوا مُعْجَبِينَ بِهِ، " فَكَانَيَجْلِسُ إِلَيْهِ الرَّجُلُ وَالرَّجُلَانِ فَيُحَدِّثُهُمَا، فَإِذَا كَثُرُوا، قَامَ وَتَرَكَهُمْ "
#3279 Abdullah bin Sa'id informed us, Yunus bin Bukayr narrated to us, al-A'mash narrated to us, from Khaythama, who said: Al-Harith bin Qais al-Ju'fi was one of the companions of Abdullah, and they used to admire him. One or two men would sit with him and he would speak to them, but if they increased in number, he would stand up and leave them.
