أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ غَزِيَّةَ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ رَاشِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي فُلَانٌ الْعُرَنِيُّ ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ :" لَا يَدَعُ اللَّهُ الْعِبَادَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ النَّاسُ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ حَتَّى يَسْأَلَهُمْ عَنْ أَرْبَعٍ : عَمَّا أَفْنَوْا فِيهِ أَعْمَارَهُمْ، وَعَمَّا أَبْلَوْا فِيهِ أَجْسَادَهُمْ، وَعَمَّا كَسَبُوا وفِيمَا أَنْفَقُوا، وَعَمَّا عَمِلُوا فِيمَا عَلِمُوا "
#3296 Sa'id bin Mansur informed us, Abd al-Aziz bin Muhammad narrated to us, from Umara bin Ghaziya, from Yahya bin Rashid, who said: a certain man of 'Urayna narrated to me, from Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: "Allah will not let the servants [be] on the Day of Resurrection, the day when mankind stands before the Lord of the worlds, until He asks them about four: about how they spent their lives, about how they wore out their bodies, about what they earned and on what they spent it, and about what they did regarding that which they knew."
