Muhammad ibn Humayd informed us, Muhammad ibn al-Mu'alla narrated to us, Ziyad ibn Khaythama narrated to us, from Abu Dawud, from 'Abdullah ibn Sakhbara, from Sakhbara (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Prophet (pbuh) who said: "Whoever seeks knowledge, it shall be an atonement for what has passed."
