Muhammad bin 'Uyaynah informed us, from Abu Ishaq al-Fazari, from al-Awza'i, from Yahya bin Abi Kathir, who said: "The Sunnah is an arbiter over the Qur'an, and the Qur'an is not an arbiter over the Sunnah."
