أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ حَكِيمٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ " أَنَّهُحَدَّثَ يَوْمًا بِحَدِيثٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ : فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ مَا يُخَالِفُ هَذَا؟، قَالَ : لَا أُرَانِي أُحَدِّثُكَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَتُعَرِّضُ فِيهِ بِكِتَابِ اللَّهِ، كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَعْلَمَ بِكِتَابِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى مِنْكَ "
#3348 Sulayman ibn Harb informed us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, on the authority of Ya'la ibn Hakim, on the authority of Sa'id ibn Jubayr, that he narrated a hadith one day from the Prophet (pbuh), and a man said: "Is there in the Book of Allah that which contradicts this?" He said: "I do not see that I should narrate to you from the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) while you oppose it with the Book of Allah; the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) was more knowledgeable of the Book of Allah, the Exalted, than you."

Transmeton Seid bin Xhubejri: Një ditë ai tregoi një hadith nga Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.), kurse një burrë i tha: "Në Librin e Allahut ka diçka që bie ndesh me këtë?" Ai tha: "Nuk e shoh të arsyeshme që unë të të tregoj hadith nga i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) e ti të më kundërvihesh me Librin e Allahut; i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) ishte më i ditur për Librin e Allahut të Lartësuar sesa ti."
