وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَعَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ، جَمِيعًا عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، - قَالَ عَمْرٌو حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، - عَنْ عَمْرٍو، سَمِعَ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ قَالَ أَضْلَلْتُ بَعِيرًا لِي فَذَهَبْتُ أَطْلُبُهُ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ فَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَاقِفًا مَعَ النَّاسِ بِعَرَفَةَ فَقُلْتُ وَاللَّهِ إِنَّ هَذَا لَمِنَ الْحُمْسِ فَمَا شَأْنُهُ هَا هُنَا وَكَانَتْ قُرَيْشٌ تُعَدُّ مِنَ الْحُمْسِ ‏.‏
#2839 Jubair. b. Mut'im reported:
I lost my camel and went in search of it on the day of 'Arafa, and I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) staying along with people in 'Ara'fit. Thereupon I said: By Allah, he is among the Hums (Quraish) ; what has happened to him that he has come to this (place)? The Quraish were counted among Hums.

Transmeton Xhubejr ibn Mut'imi: Më humbi deveja ime dhe shkova ta kërkoja në ditën e Arafatit, kur e pashë të Dërguarin e Allahut (s.a.v.s.) duke qëndruar bashkë me njerëzit në Arafat. Atëherë thashë: "Pasha Allahun, ai është prej Humsëve; çfarë i ka ndodhur që ka ardhur në këtë vend?" Kurejshët llogariteshin si pjesë e Humsëve.
