أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ، قَالَ: «إِذَا شَكَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلاتِهِ، فَلا يَدْرِي كَمْ صَلَّى ثَلاثًا أَمْ أَرْبَعًا، فَلْيَقُمْ، فَلْيُصَلِّ رَكْعَةً، وَلْيَسْجُدْ سَجْدَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ قَبْلَ التَّسْلِيمِ.
فَإِنْ كَانَتِ الرَّكْعَةُ الَّتِي صَلَّى خَامِسَةً شَفَعَهَا بِهَاتَيْنِ السَّجْدَتَيْنِ، وَإِنْ كَانَتْ رَابِعَةً فَالسَّجْدَتَانِ تَرْغِيمٌ لِلشَّيْطَانِ»

Malik informed us, Zayd bin Aslam narrated to us, from 'Ata' bin Yasar, that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "If one of you is in doubt in his prayer and does not know how many units he has prayed, whether three or four, let him stand and pray a rak'ah, and let him perform two prostrations while sitting before the salutation. If the rak'ah he prayed was the fifth, he makes it even with these two prostrations, and if it was the fourth, then the two prostrations are a humiliation for Satan."
Na njoftoi Maliku, na tregoi Zejd bin Eslemi, nga Ata bin Jesari, se i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë: "Nëse ndonjëri prej jush dyshon në namazin e tij dhe nuk e di se sa ka falur, tri apo katër rekatë, le të ngrihet dhe ta falë një rekat, pastaj t'i bëjë dy sexhde duke qenë i ulur, para dhënies së selamit. Nëse rekati që ka falur ka qenë i pesti, ai e bën atë çift me këto dy sexhde, e nëse ka qenë i katërti, atëherë dy sexhdet janë poshtërim për shejtanin."
