#477 Malik informed us, Abdullah bin Abi Bakr informed us, from Ibn Abi Mulaykah, that Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) passed by a woman afflicted with leprosy circumambulating the House, and he said: "O handmaiden of Allah, stay in your house and do not harm the people." When Umar bin al-Khattab passed away, she came, and it was said to her: "The one who used to forbid you from going out has died." She replied: "By Allah, I would not obey him while he was alive and then disobey him while he is dead."
