أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ، قَالَ: " إِنْ عَطَسَ فَشَمِّتْهُ، ثُمَّ إِنْ عَطَسَ فَشَمِّتْهُ، ثُمَّ إِنْ عَطَسَ فَشَمِّتْهُ، ثُمَّ إِنْ عَطَسَ، فَقُلْ لَهُ: إِنَّكَ مَضْنُوكٌ ". قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ: لا أَدْرِي أَبَعْدَ الثَّالِثَةِ، أَوِ الرَّابِعَةِ. قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ: إِذَا عَطَسَ فَشَمِّتْهُ، ثُمَّ إِنْ عَطَسَ فَشَمِّتْهُ، فَإِنْ لَمْ تُشَمِّتْهُ حَتَّى يَعْطُسَ مَرَّتَيْنِ، أَوْ ثَلاثًا أَجْزَاكَ أَنْ تُشَمِّتَهُ مَرَّةً وَاحِدَةً
#954 Malik informed us, Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr ibn ‘Amr ibn Hazm informed us, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "If he sneezes, then respond with a prayer for him; then if he sneezes, then respond with a prayer for him; then if he sneezes, then respond with a prayer for him; then if he sneezes, say to him: 'Indeed, you have a cold.'" Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr said: "I do not know whether it was after the third or the fourth."

Na ka njoftuar Maliku, na ka njoftuar Abdullah ibn Ebi Bekr ibn Amër ibn Hazm, nga babai i tij, se i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë: "Nëse ai teshtin, bëji lutje; pastaj nëse teshtin, bëji lutje; pastaj nëse teshtin, bëji lutje; pastaj nëse teshtin (përsëri), thuaji atij: 'Vërtet, ti je i ftohur'." Abdullah ibn Ebi Bekri ka thënë: "Nuk e di nëse ishte pas herës së tretë apo të katërt."
Koment: Ka thënë Muhamedi: Nëse ai teshtin, bëji lutje; pastaj nëse teshtin (përsëri), bëji lutje. Nëse nuk i bën lutje derisa ai të teshtijë dy apo tri herë, të mjafton që t'i bësh lutje një herë të vetme.
