١٢٠٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بُرْدٍ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: جَاءَ جِبْرِيلُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يَوْمَ الأَضْحَى، فَقَالَ: «كَيْفَ رَأَيْتَ نُسُكَنَا هَذَا؟» فَقَالَ: نُبَاهِي بِهَا أَهْلَ السَّمَاءِ، وَاعْلَمْ مُحَمَّدُ، أَنَّ الْجَذَعَ مِنَ الضَّأْنِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ السَّيِّدِ مِنَ الْمَعْزِ، وَاعْلَمْ يَا مُحَمَّدُ، أَنَّ الْجَذَعَ مِنَ الضَّأْنِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ السَّيِّدِ مِنَ الْبَقَرِ وَالإِبِلِ، وَلَوْ عَلِمَ اللَّهُ ﵎ أَفْضَلَ مِنْهُ لَفَدَى بِهِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ﷺ.
#1207 1207 - Abu al-Walid Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn al-Walid ibn Muhammad ibn Burd narrated to us, saying: Ishaq ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, from Hisham ibn Sa'd, from Zayd ibn Aslam, from 'Ata ibn Yasar, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: Gabriel came to the Prophet (pbuh) on the Day of al-Adha and said: "How did you find this sacrifice of ours?" He replied: "We boast of it to the inhabitants of heaven." [Gabriel] then said: "And know, Muhammad, that a young sheep is better than a mature goat. And know, O Muhammad, that a young sheep is better than a mature cow or camel. Had Allah (the Exalted and Majestic) known of anything better than it, He would have ransomed Ibrahim (pbuh) with it."

١٢٠٧ - Na ka treguar Abu el-Valid Muhamed b. Ahmed b. el-Valid b. Muhamed b. Burd, na ka treguar Ishak b. Ibrahim, nga Hisham b. Sa'd, nga Zejd b. Eslem, nga Ata b. Jesar, nga Ebu Hurejre, i cili ka thënë: Xhibrili erdhi tek Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) në ditën e Kurban Bajramit dhe tha: «Si e pe këtë sakrificën tonë?» Ai tha: «Ne mburremi me të para banorëve të qiellit. Dije o Muhamed, se qengji i majmë (mbi gjashtë muajsh) është më i mirë se i rrituri prej dhive. Dhe dije o Muhamed, se qengji është më i mirë se i rrituri prej lopëve dhe deveve. Sikur Allahu i Madhëruar të dinte diçka më të mirë se ai, do ta kishte shpërblyer (shpenguar) Ibrahimin (a.s.) me të.»
