#1833 1833 - Abu al-Hasan Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Ayyub al-Raqqi informed us, Ahmad ibn 'Amr ibn 'Abd al-Khaliq narrated to us, 'Abd al-Wahid ibn Ghiyath narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Ya'la ibn 'Ata, from Abu Hammam 'Abdullah ibn Yasar, from Abu 'Abd al-Rahman al-Fihri, who said: We were with the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) during the Battle of Hunayn on a sweltering day of intense heat. We halted under the shade of trees. When the sun passed its meridian, I donned my armor and mounted my horse, then came to him in his tent and greeted him with peace. He replied, "And upon you be peace, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings." I said, "The time for departure has arrived, O Messenger of Allah." He said: Then he called for Bilal, and Bilal sprang up from beneath a tree as if his shadow were that of a bird. He said, "At your service and at your command, may I be ransomed for you." He said, "Saddle my horse for me." So he brought out a saddle whose two side-panels were made of palm fiber, containing neither ostentation nor arrogance. He saddled it for him, and then he mounted. We proceeded throughout our evening and our night. When the two armies sighted one another, the Muslims turned back in retreat as Allah described. The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) then said: "O servants of Allah, I am the servant of Allah and His Messenger." He leaped down from his horse and descended, then took a handful of pebbles. He [the narrator] said: Someone who was closer to him than I informed me that he struck their faces with them and said, "May these faces be deformed." Thus, Allah defeated the polytheists. He said: Their children informed me that their fathers said, "Not one of us remained that day whose eyes and mouth were not filled with dust, and we heard a clanging sound from the sky to the earth, like the dragging of iron over an iron basin."

I thashë: "Erdhi koha e nisjes, o i Dërguari i Allahut." Kështu Allahu i mposhti idhujtarët.
