١٨٩١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، قَالا: ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، ثنا مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ خُثَيْمٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الأَسَوْدِ بْن خَلَفٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، أَنَّهُ أَخَذَ حَسَنًا فَقَبَّلَهُ، ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ فَقَالَ: «إِنَّ الْوَلَدَ مَبْخَلَةٌ، مَجْهَلَةٌ، مَجْبَنَةٌ».
#1891 1891 - Ahmad ibn Mansur and Al-Hasan ibn Mahdi narrated to us, they said: Abdur-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from Ibn Khuthaym, from Muhammad ibn al-Aswad ibn Khalaf, from his father, from the Prophet (pbuh), that he took Al-Hasan and kissed him, then he turned toward them and said: "Indeed, a child is a cause for stinginess, ignorance, and cowardice."
