١٩٩٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ قَالا: ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي جَدِّي، عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ كَانَ اسْمَهُ الصَّرْمُ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: قَدْ ذَهَبَ اللَّهُ بِالصَّرْمِ، اسْمُكَ سَعِيدٌ.
#1994 1994 - Abu Kuraib and Ibrahim ibn Ziyad narrated to us, they said: Zaid ibn al-Hubab narrated to us: Amr ibn Uthman ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Sa'id al-Makhzumi narrated to us: my grandfather narrated to me, from his father, that his name was al-Sarm, so the Prophet (pbuh) said to him: "Allah has taken away al-Sarm; your name is Sa'id."

1994 - Na tregoi Ebu Kurejbi dhe Ibrahim bin Zijadi, të cilët thanë: Na tregoi Zejd bin el-Hubabi: Na tregoi Amër bin Uthman bin Abdurrahman bin Seid el-Mahzumij: Më tregoi gjyshi im, nga babai i tij, se emri i tij kishte qenë Es-Serm, e atëherë Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) i tha: "Allahu e ka larguar (emrin) Es-Serm; emri yt është Seid."
