#2104 2104 - Hashim ibn al-Qasim al-Harrani narrated to us, Ya'la ibn al-Ashdaq narrated to us, he said: I heard Abdullah ibn Jarad al-Uqayli [saying], al-Nabigha narrated to me, saying: I came to the Prophet (pbuh) and recited to him some of my poetry: "We have surpassed the servants in chastity and nobility... and we indeed hope for a destination beyond that." He said: "Where is the destination, O Abu Layla?" He [al-Nabigha] said: I replied: "Paradise." He said: "Yes, if Allah wills." Then he said: "Recite to me [more]," so I recited to him from my poetry: "There is no good in forbearance if it does not have... sudden bursts [of strength] to protect its purity from being muddied. And there is no good in folly if it does not have... a forbearing person who, when he leads a matter to its source, can also lead it back." He said: "You have done well; may Allah not break your teeth."

Tha: I thashë: "Xheneti." Ai (s.a.v.s.) tha: "Ke bërë mirë; mos ta thëftë Allahu gojën (dhëmbët)."
