٢١٨٩ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ، ثنا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ عَدِيٍّ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ أَبُو جَهْلٍ: لَئِنْ رَأَيْتُ مُحَمَّدًا ﷺ لأَطَأَنَّ عَلَى عُنُقِهِ، فَيَقُولُ هُوَ ذَاكَ هُوَ، قَالَ: مَا أَرَاهُ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «لَوْ فَعَلَ، لأَخَذَتْهُ الْمَلائِكَةُ عِيَانًا، وَلَوْ أَنَّ الْيَهُودَ تَمَنَّوُا الْمَوْتَ لَمَاتُوا». قُلْتُ: هُوَ فِي الصَّحِيحِ، وَغَيْرُهُ بِغَيْرِ هَذَا السِّيَاقِ.
#2189 2189 - Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Rahim narrated to us, Zakariya ibn 'Adi narrated to us, 'Ubayd Allah ibn 'Amr narrated to us, from 'Abd al-Karim, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: Abu Jahl said, "If I see Muhammad (pbuh), I will certainly trample upon his neck." Then it was said, "There he is, that is him." He said, "I do not see him." Thereupon the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "If he had done so, the angels would have seized him in plain sight; and had the Jews wished for death, they would have died."

٢١٨٩ - Na ka treguar Muhamed ibn Abdurrahim, na ka treguar Zekerija ibn Adij, na ka treguar Ubejdullah ibn Amër, nga Abdulkerimi, nga Ikrimja, nga Ibn Abasi, i cili ka thënë: Ebu Xhehli tha: "Nëse e shoh Muhamedin (s.a.v.s.), me siguri do t'ia shkel qafën." Atëherë i thanë: "Ja ku është ai, ai është." Ai tha: "Nuk po e shoh." Atëherë i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) tha: "Sikur ta bënte këtë, engjëjt do ta rrëmbenin atë haptazi; dhe sikur judenjtë ta dëshironin vdekjen, ata do të vdisnin."
