#2355 2355 - Muhammad ibn Marzuq ibn Bukayr narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Mas'ud narrated to us, Ibrahim ibn Tahman narrated to us, from Ata ibn al-Sa'ib, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn Abbas, from the Prophet (pbuh): "Whenever the Prophet of Allah, Solomon, stood to pray, he would see a tree growing before him. He would say to it: 'What is your name?' and it would reply: 'Such-and-such.' He would then ask: 'What are you for?' and it would reply: 'For such-and-such.' If it was for medicinal purposes, it was recorded, and if it was for planting, it was planted. While he was praying one day, a tree grew before him. He said to it: 'What is your name?' It replied: 'The carob tree.' He said: 'What are you for?' It replied: 'For the destruction of this House.' Solomon said: 'O Allah, obscure my death from the Jinn so that mankind may know that the Jinn do not know the unseen.' Then he took his staff and leaned upon it while the Jinn continued their work. The termites consumed it over the course of a year, and he fell. {The Jinn realized that if they had known the unseen, they would not have remained in the humiliating torment} [Saba: 14]." Ibn Abbas used to recite it in this manner. He said: "The Jinn were grateful to the termites, so they used to bring them water."

٢٣٥٥ - Na tregoi Muhamed ibn Merzuk ibn Bukajr, na tregoi Muhamed ibn Mes'ud, na tregoi Ibrahim ibn Tahman, nga Ata ibn es-Saib, nga Seid ibn Xhubejr, nga Ibn Abasi, nga Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.): "Sa herë që Pejgamberi i Allahut, Sulejmani (a.s.), qëndronte për t'u falur, shihte një pemë që mbijnte para tij. Ai i thoshte asaj: 'Si quhesh?' Ajo i përgjigjej: 'Filan emër'. Ai i thoshte: 'Për çfarë shërben?' Ajo i përgjigjej: 'Për këtë'.
