٢٣٥٨ - حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ثنا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ الْعَبَّادَانِيُّ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: كُنْتُ فِي حَلْقَةٍ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ نَتَذَاكَرُ فَضَائِلَ الأَنْبِيَاءِ أَيُّهُمْ أَفْضَلُ؟ فَذَكَرْنَا نُوحًا وَطُولَ عِبَادَتِهِ رَبَّهُ، وَذَكَرْنَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ خَلِيلَ الرَّحْمَنِ، وَذَكَرْنَا مُوسَى مُكَلِّمَ اللَّهِ، وَذَكَرْنَا عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ، وَذَكَرْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ، فَبَيْنَمَا نَحْنُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ إِذْ خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ، فَقَالَ: «مَا تَذْكُرُونَ بَيْنَكُمْ؟» قُلْنَا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ: ذَكَرْنَا فَضَائِلَ الأَنْبِيَاءِ أَيُّهُمْ أَفْضَلُ؟ فَذَكَرْنَا نُوحًا وَطُولَ عِبَادَتِهِ رَبَّهُ، وَذَكَرْنَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ خَلِيلَ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ، وَذَكَرْنَا مُوسَى مُكَلِّمَ اللَّهِ، وَذَكَرْنَا عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ، وَذَكَرْنَاكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، فَقَالَ: «فَمَنْ فَضَّلْتُمْ؟» فَقُلْنَا: فَضَّلْنَاكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ! بَعَثَكَ اللَّهُ إِلَى النَّاسِ كَافَّةً، وَغَفَرَ لَكَ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِكَ وَمَا تَأَخَّرَ، وَأَنْتَ خَاتَمُ الأَنْبِيَاءِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «مَا يَنْبَغِي أَنْ يَكُونَ أَحَدٌ خَيْرًا مِنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا»، قُلْنَا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ! وَكَيْفَ ذَاكَ؟ قَالَ: " أَلَمْ تَسْمَعُوا اللَّهَ كَيْفَ نَعَتَهُ فِي الْقُرْآنِ: ﴿يَا يَحْيَى خُذِ الْكِتَابَ بِقُوَّةٍ وَآتَيْنَاهُ الْحُكْمَ صَبِيًّا﴾ [مريم: ١٢] إِلَى قَوْلِهِ: ﴿حَيًّا﴾ [مريم: ١٥] ﴿مُصَدِّقًا بِكَلِمَةٍ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَسَيِّدًا وَحَصُورًا وَنَبِيًّا مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ﴾ [آل عمران: ٣٩] لَمْ

2358 - Amr ibn Ali narrated to us, Abu Asim al-Abbadani narrated to us, Ali ibn Zayd narrated to us, from Yusuf ibn Mihran, from Ibn Abbas, who said: I was in a circle in the mosque, and we were discussing the virtues of the Prophets and which of them is best. We mentioned Noah and the length of his worship to his Lord, we mentioned Abraham, the Intimate Friend of the Most Merciful, we mentioned Moses, the one to whom Allah spoke directly, we mentioned Jesus, son of Mary, and we mentioned the Messenger of Allah (pbuh). While we were engaged in that, the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) came out to us and said: "What are you discussing among yourselves?" We said: "O Messenger of Allah, we were mentioning the virtues of the Prophets and which of them is best. We mentioned Noah and the length of his worship to his Lord, we mentioned Abraham, the Intimate Friend of Allah, the Most Merciful, we mentioned Moses, the one to whom Allah spoke directly, we mentioned Jesus, son of Mary, and we mentioned you, O Messenger of Allah." He (pbuh) asked: "And whom did you favor?" We said: "We favored you, O Messenger of Allah! Allah sent you to all of mankind, and has forgiven you your past and future sins, and you are the Seal of the Prophets." The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) then said: "It is not fitting for anyone to be better than John, son of Zechariah." We said: "O Messenger of Allah! How is that?" He (pbuh) said: "Have you not heard how Allah described him in the Quran: {'O John, take the Scripture with might.' And We gave him judgment while yet a boy} [Maryam: 12] until His saying: {and the day he is raised alive} [Maryam: 15], {confirming a word from Allah, and [who will be] honorable, abstinent, and a prophet from among the righteous} [Al-Imran: 39]. 2358 - Na ka treguar Amr ibn Aliu, na ka treguar Ebu Asim el-Abbadani, na ka treguar Ali ibn Zejdi, nga Jusuf ibn Mihrani, nga Ibn Abbasi, i cili ka thënë: Isha në një rreth (halke) në xhami ku po diskutonim mbi vlerat e Pejgamberëve, se cili prej tyre ishte më i vlefshëm. Përmendëm Nuhun (a.s.) dhe kohëzgjatjen e adhurimit të tij ndaj Zotit të tij; përmendëm Ibrahimin (a.s.), mikun e ngushtë të të Gjithëmëshirshmit; përmendëm Musain (a.s.), atë me të cilin foli Allahu; përmendëm Isain (a.s.), birin e Merjemes; si dhe përmendëm të Dërguarin e Allahut (s.a.v.s.). Ndërsa ishim duke biseduar, doli para nesh i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) dhe tha: "Për çfarë po bisedoni mes jush?" Ne thamë: "O i Dërguari i Allahut, po përmendim vlerat e Pejgamberëve, se cili prej tyre është më i vlefshëm. Përmendëm Nuhun (a.s.) dhe kohëzgjatjen e adhurimit të tij ndaj Zotit të tij; përmendëm Ibrahimin (a.s.), mikun e ngushtë të Allahut, të të Gjithëmëshirshmit; përmendëm Musain (a.s.), atë me të cilin foli Allahu; përmendëm Isain (a.s.), birin e Merjemes; dhe të përmendëm ty, o i Dërguari i Allahut." Ai pyeti: "E cilin vlerësuat më shumë?" Ne thamë: "Të vlerësuam ty, o i Dërguari i Allahut! Allahu të dërgoi te të gjithë njerëzit mbarë, të ka falur gabimet e tua të kaluara e të ardhshme dhe ti je vula e Pejgamberëve." Atëherë i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) tha: "Nuk i takon askujt të jetë më i mirë se Jahja ibn Zekerija." Ne thamë: "O i Dërguari i Allahut! Si është e mundur kjo?" Ai tha: "A nuk keni dëgjuar se si e ka cilësuar Allahu atë në Kuran: {O Jahja, merre Librin me forcë! Dhe Ne i dhamë atij urtësinë që kur ishte fëmijë} [Merjem: 12] deri te fjala e Tij: {dhe ditën kur do të ringjallet i gjallë} [Merjem: 15], {vërtetues i Fjalës së Allahut, i nderuar, i dëlirë dhe Pejgamber prej të mirëve} [Al Imran: 39].
