٢٤٤٤ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى، ثنا دَاوُدُ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ تَزَوَّجَ قُتَيْلَةَ أُخْتَ الأَشْعَثِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، فَمَاتَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُخَيِّرَهَا، فَبَرَّأَهَا اللَّهُ مِنْهُ.
شرح قَالَ الْبَزَّارُ: لا نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا يَرْوِي هَذَا إِلا ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ.

#2444 2444 - Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, 'Abd al-A'la narrated to us, Dawud narrated to us, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas, that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) married Qutaylah, the sister of al-Ash'ath ibn Qays, and he passed away before he gave her the choice, so Allah released her from him.

Na tregoi Muhamed ibn el-Muthanna, na tregoi Abdylela, na tregoi Davudi, nga Ikrimja, nga Ibn Abasi, se i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) u martua me Kutejlen, motrën e el-Esh'ath ibn Kajsit, dhe ai ndërroi jetë para se t'i jepte asaj mundësinë e zgjedhjes, andaj Allahu e liroi atë prej tij.
