2669 - Ahmad ibn Mansur narrated to us, Yunus ibn Muhammad narrated to us, Harb ibn Maymun narrated to us, from al-Nadr ibn Anas, who said: Umm Sulaym came to Abu Anas and said, "Today I have brought that which you dislike." He replied, "You never cease bringing that which I dislike from this Bedouin." She said, "He was a Bedouin, yet Allah chose him, selected him, and made him a Prophet." He asked, "What is it that you have brought?" She said, "Wine has been forbidden." He said, "This is a separation between me and you," and he died as a polytheist. Then Abu Talhah came to Umm Sulaym, and she said, "I will not marry you while you are a polytheist." He said, "No, by Allah, this is not your motive." She asked, "Then what is my motive?" He said, "Your motive is for gold or silver." She said, "Indeed, I take you to witness, and I take the Prophet of Allah (pbuh) to witness, that if you embrace Islam, I shall accept Islam from you [as my dower]." He said, "Who will assist me in this?" She said, "O Anas, stand up and go with your uncle." So he [Anas] stood up and placed his hand on his [Abu Talhah's] shoulder, and they set out until they were near the Prophet of Allah (pbuh), who heard his speech and said, "This is Abu Talhah, with the radiance of Islam between his eyes." When he arrived, he greeted the Prophet of Allah (pbuh) and said, "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger." So the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) married him to her upon his conversion to Islam. She bore him a boy, and the boy grew and his father was delighted with him. Then Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, took him. Abu Talhah arrived and asked, "How is my son, O Umm Sulaym?" She said, "Better than he was," then asked, "Will you not have lunch? You have delayed your lunch today." She brought him his lunch and he ate. When he finished his lunch, she said, "O Abu Talhah, consider a loan that a people borrowed—and the loan remained with them as long as Allah decreed—then the owners of the loan sent for their loan and took it back; do they have any right to be distressed by it?" He said, "No." She said, "Then your son has departed from this world." He asked, "Where is he?" She said, "He is right here in the alcove." He entered, uncovered him, and recited the prayer of return [to Allah]. He then went to the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) and informed him of what Umm Sulaym had said. He (pbuh) said, "By the One Who sent me with the truth! Allah the Exalted has cast into her womb a male child who will grant her patience over her [lost] child." Anas said: She gave birth to him, and the Prophet of Allah (pbuh) said, "Go, O Anas, to your mother and tell her: When you cut the umbilical cord of your son, do not let him taste anything until you send him to me." I placed him on my arm until I brought him to the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) and placed him before him. He said, "Bring me three Ajwa dates." I brought them, and he removed their pits, then put them in his mouth and chewed them. Then he opened the boy’s mouth and placed them inside, and the boy began to smack his lips. He (pbuh) said, "An Ansari who loves dates!" and then said, "Go to your father and say: May Allah bless him for you, and make him righteous and pious."

Pastaj ajo i tha: "A nuk do të hash drekë? Atëherë ai (s.a.v.s.) tha: "Një ensari që i do hurmat!"
