٢٨٣٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ، أنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَادَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «لو أَنَّ الإِيمَانَ مُعَلَّقٌ بِالثُّرَيَّا، لَتَنَاوَلَهُ نَاسٌ مِنْ أَبْنَاءِ فَارِسَ» وَرُبَّمَا قَالَ: «مِنْ بَنِي الْحَمْرَاءِ بَنِي الْمَوَالِي».
#2835 2835 - Ahmad ibn ‘Abdah narrated to us, [saying]: Sufyan ibn ‘Uyaynah informed us, on the authority of Abu Najih, from his father, from Qays ibn Sa‘d ibn ‘Ubadah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "If faith were suspended at the Pleiades, people from among the sons of Persia would have attained it." And he [the narrator] perhaps said: "From the Banu al-Hamra’, the sons of the Mawali."

٢٨٣٥ - Na ka treguar Ahmed ibn Abde, na ka njoftuar Sufjan ibn Ujejne, nga Ebu Nexhihu, nga babai i tij, nga Kajs ibn Sad ibn Ubade, i cili ka thënë: I Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë: "Sikur besimi të ishte i varur te Thurejja (Plejada), do ta arrinin atë njerëz prej bijve të Persisë." E ndoshta [transmetuesi] ka thënë: "Prej Beni el-Hamrasë, bijve të Mevalive."
