#2861 2861 - Khalid ibn Yusuf related to us, my father, Yusuf ibn Khalid, related to me, Jafar ibn Sad ibn Samurah related to us, Khubayb ibn Sulayman related to us, from his father Sulayman ibn Samurah, from Samurah ibn Jundub, who then mentioned several hadiths with this [isnad], then he said: and with his chain of narrators: that a man from among the Bedouins came to the Messenger of Allah (pbuh), seeking a legal ruling from him regarding what is forbidden for him and what is lawful for him. The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "Permitted for you are the good things, and forbidden for you are the impure things, unless you are compelled by necessity to consume food that is not lawful for you, in which case you may eat from it until you are no longer in need."
