حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلانَ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ مَا رَأَيْتُ مِنْ ذِي لِمَّةٍ فِي حُلَّةٍ حَمْرَاءَ أَحْسَنَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، لَهُ شَعَرٌ يَضْرِبُ مَنْكِبَيْهِ، بَعِيدُ مَا بَيْنَ الْمَنْكِبَيْنِ، لَمْ يَكُنْ بِالْقَصِيرِ، وَلا بِالطَّوِيلِ‏.‏
#4 Al-Bara’ ibn 'Azib said:
"I have never seen anyone endowed with a lock of hair flowing below the ears, wearing a red suit of clothes, more handsome than Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace). He had some hair touching his shoulders. Broad-shouldered, he was neither short nor tall.”

Na ka treguar Mahmud ibn Gajlani, i cili tha: Na ka treguar Vekiu, i cili tha: Na ka treguar Sufjani, nga Ebu Is'haku, nga Bera ibn Azibi, i cili ka thënë: Nuk kam parë askënd me flokë të derdhura nën veshë, të veshur me rroba të kuqe, më të pashëm se i Dërguari i Allahut (paqja dhe mëshira e Allahut qofshin mbi të). Ai i kishte flokët që i binin mbi supe. Ishte shpatullgjerë; nuk ishte as i shkurtër dhe as i gjatë.
