Hadith #505 - Majma al-Zawaid - The Compilation of Extra Narrations and the Source of Benefits

٥٠٥ - وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّهُ مَرَّ بِسُوقِ الْمَدِينَةِ فَوَقَفَ عَلَيْهَا، فَقَالَ: يَا أَهْلَ السُّوقِ، مَا أَعْجَزَكُمْ؟ قَالُوا: وَمَا ذَاكَ يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ؟ قَالَ: ذَاكَ مِيرَاثُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - ﷺ - يُقَسَّمُ وَأَنْتُمْ هَاهُنَا، أَلَا تَذْهَبُونَ فَتَأْخُذُونَ نَصِيبَكُمْ مِنْهُ؟ قَالُوا: وَأَيْنَ هُوَ؟ قَالَ: فِي الْمَسْجِدِ، فَخَرَجُوا سِرَاعًا وَوَقَفَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ لَهُمْ حَتَّى رَجَعُوا، فَقَالَ لَهُمْ: مَا لَكُمْ؟ قَالُوا: يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، فَقَدْ أَتَيْنَا الْمَسْجِدَ فَدَخَلْنَا، فَلَمْ نَرَ فِيهِ شَيْئًا يُقَسَّمُ، فَقَالَ لَهُمْ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: وَمَا رَأَيْتُمْ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ أَحَدًا؟ قَالُوا: بَلَى، رَأَيْنَا قَوْمًا يُصَلُّونَ، وَقَوْمًا يَقْرَءُونَ
الْقُرْآنَ، وَقَوْمًا يَتَذَاكَرُونَ الْحَلَالَ وَالْحَرَامَ، فَقَالَ لَهُمْ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: وَيْحَكُمْ، فَذَاكَ مِيرَاثُ مُحَمَّدٍ - ﷺ -.
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ.

#505 505 - And on the authority of Abu Hurayrah that he passed by the market of Medina and stopped there, saying: "O people of the market, how incapable you are!" They said: "And what is that, O Abu Hurayrah?" He said: "That is the inheritance of the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) being distributed while you are here. Will you not go and take your portion of it?" They asked: "And where is it?" He said: "In the mosque." So they departed in haste, and Abu Hurayrah waited for them until they returned. He said to them: "What is the matter with you?" They said: "O Abu Hurayrah, we went to the mosque and entered, but we did not see anything being distributed in it." So Abu Hurayrah said to them: "And did you not see anyone in the mosque?" They replied: "Indeed, we saw a people praying, a people reciting the Qur’an, and a people discussing the lawful and the prohibited." Abu Hurayrah said to them: "Woe to you! That is the inheritance of Muhammad (pbuh)."

505 - Dhe nga Ebu Hurejra transmetohet se ai kaloi pranë tregut të Medines, u ndal aty dhe tha: "O njerëz të tregut, sa të paaftë që jeni!" Ata i thanë: "E përse kështu, o Ebu Hurejra?" Ai u tha: "Ajo është trashëgimia e të Dërguarit të Allahut (s.a.v.s.) që po shpërndahet, ndërsa ju jeni këtu. Përse nuk shkoni dhe të merrni pjesën tuaj prej saj?" Ata pyetën: "E ku është ajo?" Ai u tha: "Në xhami." Atëherë ata u nisën me nxitim, ndërsa Ebu Hurejra i priti derisa u kthyen. Ai u tha: "Çfarë keni?" Ata i thanë: "O Ebu Hurejra, ne shkuam në xhami dhe hymë brenda, por nuk pamë asgjë që po shpërndahej aty." Atëherë Ebu Hurejra u tha: "A nuk patë askënd në xhami?" Ata u përgjigjën: "Po, pamë njerëz që faleshin, njerëz që lexonin Kuran dhe njerëz që përkujtonin me njëri-tjetrin të lejuarën (hallallin) dhe të ndaluarën (haramin)." Ebu Hurejra u tha: "Mjerë për ju! Ajo është trashëgimia e Muhamedit (s.a.v.s.)."
