٦٥٣ - وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - ﷺ: «مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ بَيْنَ عَيْنَيْ جَهَنَّمَ " فَشَقَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَى
أَصْحَابِهِ، فَقَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، نُحَدِّثُ بِالْحَدِيثِ نَزِيدُ وَنَنْقُصُ!. قَالَ: " لَيْسَ أَعْنِيكُمْ، إِنَّمَا أَعْنِي الَّذِي يَكْذِبُ عَلَيَّ مُتَحَدِّثًا يَطْلُبُ بِهِ شِينَ الْإِسْلَامِ "، قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِنَّكَ قُلْتَ بَيْنَ عَيْنَيْ جَهَنَّمَ، وَهَلْ لِجَهَنَّمَ عَيْنَانِ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ، أَمَّا سَمِعْتُمُ اللَّهَ - تَعَالَى - يَقُولُ " إِذَا رَأَتْهُمْ مِنْ مَكَانٍ بَعِيدٍ " فَهَلْ تَرَاهُمْ إِلَّا بِعَيْنَيْنِ؟» ".
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ، وَفِيهِ الْأَحْوَصُ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ، ضَعَّفَهُ النَّسَائِيُّ وَغَيْرُهُ، وَوَثَّقَهُ الْعِجْلِيُّ وَيَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ فِي رِوَايَةٍ، وَرَوَاهُ عَنِ الْأَحْوَصِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ ضَعِيفٌ.
#653 653 - And on the authority of Abu Umamah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "Whoever lies against me intentionally, let him take his seat between the two eyes of Hellfire." This distressed his companions, and they said: "O Messenger of Allah, we narrate the hadith and we add and subtract!" He said: "I do not mean you; I only mean the one who lies against me while speaking, seeking thereby the disgrace of Islam." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, you said 'between the two eyes of Hellfire'; does Hellfire have two eyes?" He said: "Yes, have you not heard Allah - the Exalted - saying: 'When it sees them from a far place' (Al-Furqan: 12)? Can it see them except with two eyes?"

653 - Dhe nga Ebu Umameh ka thënë: Ka thënë i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.): "Kush shpif rrejshëm ndaj meje me qëllim, le ta përgatitë vendin e tij mes dy syve të Xhehenemit." Kjo u erdhi rëndë shokëve të tij dhe ata thanë: "O i Dërguari i Allahut, ne tregojmë hadithe duke shtuar e duke pakësuar!" Ai tha: "Nuk e kam fjalën për ju; unë e kam fjalën vetëm për atë që shpif ndaj meje gjatë bisedës, duke synuar me këtë njollosjen e Islamit." Ata thanë: "O i Dërguari i Allahut, ti the 'mes dy syve të Xhehenemit', po a ka Xhehenemi dy sy?" Ai tha: "Po, a nuk e keni dëgjuar Allahun e Lartësuar duke thënë: 'Kur ai t'i shohë ata prej një vendi të largët' (El-Furkan: 12)? Vallë, a i sheh ai ata ndryshe veçse me dy sy?"
