٧٣٩ - عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ «أَنَّ رَجُلًا جَاءَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ - ﷺ - قَالَ: أَيُّ النَّاسِ أَعْلَمُ؟ قَالَ: " أَنْ يَجْمَعَ عِلْمَ النَّاسِ إِلَى عِلْمِهِ، وَكُلُّ صَاحِبِ عِلْمٍ غَرْثَانُ».
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى، وَفِيهِ مَسْعَدَةُ بْنُ الْيَسَعِ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ جِدًّا.
#739 739 - On the authority of Jabir bin Abdullah, that a man came to the Prophet (pbuh) and said: "Who among the people is the most knowledgeable?" He said: "The one who gathers the knowledge of the people to his own knowledge; and every possessor of knowledge is hungry."
