٩٤٦ - وَعَنْ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ غَزْوَانَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - ﷺ - قَالَ يَوْمًا لِقُرَيْشٍ: «هَلْ فِيكُمْ مَنْ لَيْسَ مِنْكُمْ؟ " قَالُوا: ابْنُ أُخْتِنَا عُتْبَةُ بْنُ غَزْوَانَ. قَالَ: " ابْنُ أُخْتِ الْقَوْمِ مِنْهُمْ [وَحَلِيفُ الْقَوْمِ مِنْهُمْ]».
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ، وَهُوَ مِنْ رِوَايَةِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ غَزْوَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عُتْبَةَ، وَلَمْ أَرَ مَنْ ذَكَرَ عُتْبَةَ وَلَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ.
#946 946 - And from 'Utbah bin Ghazwan that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said one day to the Quraysh: "Is there among you anyone who is not from you?" They said: "The son of our sister, 'Utbah bin Ghazwan." He said: "The son of a people's sister is from them [and the ally of a people is from them]."

946 - Dhe nga Utbe bin Gazvani transmetohet se i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) i tha një ditë Kurejshëve: "A ka mes jush dikë që nuk është prej jush?" Ata thanë: "Djali i motrës sonë, Utbe bin Gazvani." Ai tha: "Djali i motrës së një populli është prej tyre [dhe aleati i një populli është prej tyre]."
Koment: E ka transmetuar Taberaniu në "al-Mu'jam al-Kabir", dhe kjo është nga transmetimi i Utbe bin Ibrahim bin Utbe bin Gazvanit, nga babai i tij, nga Utbeja, dhe nuk kam parë dikë që ka përmendur (për vlerësim) Utben apo Ibrahimin.
