#1029 1029 - And from Abu Umamah, who said: The Prophet (pbuh) passed on an intensely hot day towards Baqi’ al-Gharqad. He said: And the people were walking behind him. He said: When he heard the sound of the sandals, it weighed upon his soul, so he sat down until he put them ahead of him, lest any pride should enter his soul. When he passed by Baqi’ al-Gharqad, there were two graves in which two men had been buried. He said: The Prophet (pbuh) stopped and said: "Whom have you buried here today?" They said: So-and-so and so-and-so. They said: O Prophet of Allah, why [do you ask]? He said: "As for one of them, he did not protect himself from urine, and as for the other, he used to go about with malicious gossip." Then he took a fresh palm branch and split it, then placed it upon the two graves. They said: O Prophet of Allah, why did you do that? He said: "So that it may lighten [the punishment] for them." They said: O Prophet of Allah, until when will they be punished? He said: "It is a matter of the Unseen that none knows but Allah." He said: "Were it not for the wavering of your hearts and your excess in speech, you would have heard what I hear."

Ai tha: Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) ndaloi dhe tha: 'Kë keni varrosur këtu sot?' Ata thanë: Filanin dhe filanin. Ata thanë: O i Dërguari i Allahut, përse kjo pyetje? Ata thanë: O i Dërguari i Allahut, përse e bëre këtë? Ai tha: 'Që t'u lehtësohet atyre.' Ata thanë: O i Dërguari i Allahut, deri kur do të dënohen ata?
