١٢٥٣ - وَعَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ دَاوُدَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ (عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ) قَالَ: الْوُضُوءُ مِمَّا خَرَجَ، وَلَيْسَ مِمَّا دَخَلَ. وَالصَّوْمُ مِمَّا دَخَلَ وَلَيْسَ مِمَّا خَرَجَ.
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ، وَرِجَالُهُ مُوَثَّقُونَ.
#1253 1253 - And from Wa’il bin Dawud, from Ibrahim (from ‘Abdullah bin Mas’ud) who said: "Ablution (Wudu) is from what exits, and not from what enters. And fasting is from what enters, and not from what exits."
