١٤٦٤ - «عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَجُلٌ: كَمْ يَكْفِينِي مِنَ الْوُضُوءِ؟ قَالَ: مُدٌّ. قَالَ: كَمْ يَكْفِينِي مِنَ الْغُسْلِ؟ قَالَ: صَاعٌ. قَالَ: فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ: لَا يَكْفِينِي. قَالَ: لَا أُمَّ لَكَ، قَدْ كَفَى مَنْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِنْكَ، رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - ﷺ» -.
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ، وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَ الْكَلَامُ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَى غَيْرِهِ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْأَحَادِيثِ فِيمَا يُجْزِئُ مِنَ الْمَاءِ لِلْوُضُوءِ وَالْغُسْلِ.
#1464 1464 - On the authority of Ibn Abbas, who said: A man asked: "How much is sufficient for me for ablution?" He said: "A mudd." He asked: "How much is sufficient for me for the ritual bath?" He said: "A sa'." The man said: "It is not sufficient for me." He said: "May you have no mother! It was sufficient for one who was better than you, the Messenger of Allah (pbuh)."

1464 - Nga Ibn Abbasi transmetohet se ka thënë: Një burrë pyeti: "Sa ujë më mjafton për abdest?" Ai tha: "Një mudd." Ai pyeti: "Sa më mjafton për gusël?" Ai tha: "Një sa'." Burri tha: "Nuk më mjafton." Ai (Ibn Abbasi) i tha: "Të faltë nëna! I ka mjaftuar atij që ishte më i mirë se ti, të Dërguarit të Allahut (s.a.v.s.)."
