٣٢٩٨ - وَعَنْ سَبْرَةَ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ قَالَ: «رَأَى أَصْحَابُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - ﷺ - سَحَابَةً فَقَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كُنَّا نَرْجُوا أَنْ تُمْطِرَنَا هَذِهِ السَّحَابَةُ فَقَالَ: " إِنَّ هَذِهِ أُمِرَتْ أَنْ تُمْطِرَ بَلَيْلٍ "، - يَعْنِي وَادِيًا يُقَالُ لَهُ: بِلَيْلٍ» -.
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَرِجَالُهُ مُوَثَّقُونَ.
#3298 3298 - And on the authority of Sabrah bin Ma'bad, who said: "The companions of the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) saw a cloud and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, we were hoping that this cloud would rain upon us.' So he said: 'Indeed, this [cloud] has been commanded to rain upon Balayl' - meaning a valley called Balayl."
