٣٧١٤ - عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ قَالَ: «خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - ﷺ - فَتَوَجَّهَ نَحْوَ مَشْرَبَتِهِ فَدَخَلَ فَاسْتَقْبَلَ الْقِبْلَةَ فَخَرَّ سَاجِدًا فَأَطَالَ السُّجُودَ حَتَّى ظَنَنْتُ أَنَّ اللَّهَ قَبَضَ نَفْسَهُ فِيهَا، فَدَنَوْتُ مِنْهُ فَرَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ قَالَ: " مَنْ هَذَا؟ " قُلْتُ: عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ: " مَا شَأْنُكَ؟ " قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ سَجَدْتَ سَجْدَةً خَشِيتُ أَنْ يَكُونَ اللَّهُ قَدْ قَبَضَ نَفْسَكَ فِيهَا قَالَ: " إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ - ﷺ - أَتَانِي فَبَشَّرَنِي فَقَالَ: إِنَّ اللَّهَ - ﷿ - يَقُولُ: مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيْكَ صَلَّيْتُ عَلَيْهِ وَمَنْ سَلَّمَ عَلَيْكَ سَلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَسَجَدْتُ لِلَّهِ شُكْرًا».
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ.
#3714 3714 - On the authority of Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) went out and headed toward his upper room, entered it, faced the Qiblah, and fell down in prostration. He prolonged the prostration until I thought that Allah had taken his soul during it. I drew near to him, and he raised his head and said: 'Who is this?' I said: 'Abd al-Rahman.' He said: 'What is the matter with you?' I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, you performed a prostration during which I feared that Allah had taken your soul.' He said: 'Indeed, Gabriel (pbuh) came to me and gave me glad tidings, saying: "Indeed, Allah - Mighty and Majestic - says: Whoever invokes blessings upon you, I shall bless him, and whoever sends greetings of peace upon you, I shall send peace upon him." So I prostrated to Allah in gratitude.'"

٣٧١٤ - Nga Abdurrahman ibn Aufi, i cili ka thënë: "I Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) doli dhe u drejtua drejt dhomës së tij të sipërme, hyri në të, u kthye nga Kibla dhe ra në sexhde. Ai e zgjati sexhden aq shumë saqë mendova se Allahu ia kishte marrë shpirtin gjatë saj. Iu afrova atij, ndërsa ai e ngriti kokën e tha: 'Kush është ky?' Thashë: 'Abdurrahmani'. Ai tha: 'Çfarë ke?' Thashë: 'O i Dërguari i Allahut, bëre një sexhde aq të gjatë saqë u frikësova se Allahu ta kishte marrë shpirtin gjatë saj.' Ai tha: 'Vërtet, Xhibrili (a.s.) më erdhi dhe më dha përgëzime, duke më thënë: 'Vërtet Allahu - i Plotfuqishmi dhe i Madhërishmi - thotë: Kush dërgon salavat mbi ty, Unë dërgoj mëshirë mbi të, dhe kush të dërgon selam ty, Unë i dërgoj selam atij.' Prandaj, i bëra sexhde Allahut në shenjë falënderimi'."
