Hadith #3962 - Majma al-Zawaid - The Compilation of Extra Narrations and the Source of Benefits

٣٩٦٢ - وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ﵁ قَالَ: «كُنَّا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَأُتِيَ بِجِنَازَةٍ، فَأَثْنَى النَّاسُ عَلَيْهَا خَيْرًا، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: " وَجَبَتْ ". ثُمَّ أُتِيَ بِأُخْرَى فَكَأَنَّ النَّاسَ نَالُوا مِنْهُ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: " وَجَبَتْ ". فَقَالَ أَصْحَابُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ: أُتِيَ بِفُلَانٍ فَقَالَ: وَجَبَتْ، وَأُتِيَ بِفُلَانٍ فَقَالَ: وَجَبَتْ. فَقَالَ عُمَرُ: بِأَبِي أَنْتَ وَأُمِّي، أُتِيَ بِفُلَانٍ فَأَثْنَى النَّاسُ عَلَيْهِ خَيْرًا فَقُلْتَ: وَجَبَتْ، ثُمَّ أُتِيَ بِفُلَانٍ أَثْنَى النَّاسُ عَلَيْهِ شَرًّا فَقُلْتُ: وَجَبَتْ؟ فَقَالَ: " أُتِيَ بِأَخِيكُمْ فَشَهِدْتُمْ بِمَا شَهِدْتُمْ فَوَجَبَتْ شَهَادَتُكُمْ، ثُمَّ أُتِيَ بِأَخِيكُمْ فُلَانٍ فَشَهِدْتُمْ [بِمَا شَهِدْتُمْ] فَوَجَبَتْ شَهَادَتُكُمْ، أَنْتُمْ شُهَدَاءُ اللَّهِ فِي الْأَرْضِ بَعْضُكُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ» ".
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ. وَرَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ بِاخْتِصَارٍ.

#3962 3962 - On the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: "We were with the Prophet (pbuh) when a funeral procession was brought, and the people praised the deceased well. The Prophet (pbuh) said: 'It has become mandatory.' Then another was brought, and it was as if the people spoke ill of him, so the Prophet (pbuh) said: 'It has become mandatory.' The companions of the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: 'So-and-so was brought and he said: It has become mandatory, and so-and-so was brought and he said: It has become mandatory.' Umar said: 'May my father and mother be sacrificed for you, so-and-so was brought and the people praised him well, so you said: It has become mandatory; then so-and-so was brought and the people spoke ill of him, so you said: It has become mandatory?' He (pbuh) replied: 'Your brother was brought and you testified as you testified, so your testimony became mandatory. Then your brother so-and-so was brought and you testified [as you testified], so your testimony became mandatory. You are the witnesses of Allah on earth, regarding one another.'"

٣٩٦٢ - Dhe nga Ebu Hurejra (r.a.) transmetohet se ka thënë: «Ishim pranë Pejgamberit (s.a.v.s.) kur u soll një xhenaze, dhe njerëzit e lavdëruan atë për të mirë. Atëherë Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) tha: "U bë e detyrueshme". Pastaj u soll një tjetër, për të cilin njerëzit folën keq, e Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) tha: "U bë e detyrueshme". Shokët e të Dërguarit të Allahut (s.a.v.s.) thanë: "U soll filani dhe ai tha: 'U bë e detyrueshme', dhe u soll filani tjetër dhe ai tha: 'U bë e detyrueshme'". Omeri tha: "Për babanë e nënën time (u flijofsha për ty), u soll filani dhe njerëzit e lavdëruan atë për të mirë, e ti the: 'U bë e detyrueshme'; pastaj u soll filani tjetër për të cilin njerëzit folën keq, e ti the: 'U bë e detyrueshme'?" Ai (s.a.v.s.) tha: "U soll vëllai juaj dhe ju dëshmuat ashtu si dëshmuat, andaj dëshmia juaj u bë e detyrueshme. Pastaj u soll vëllai juaj filani dhe ju dëshmuat [atë që dëshmuat], andaj dëshmia juaj u bë e detyrueshme. Ju jeni dëshmitarët e Allahut në tokë, dëshmitarë për njëri-tjetrin"».

Koment: E ka transmetuar Taberaniu në "El-Eusat" (al-Awsat) dhe transmetuesit e tij janë transmetuesit e "Sahihut". Gjithashtu e ka transmetuar Bezzari në formë të shkurtuar.
