٤٠١٠ - وَعَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الْمُزَنِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - ﷺ: " «ثَلَاثٌ مِنْ أَمْرِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ لَا يَدَعُهُنَّ النَّاسُ - أَوْ لَا يَتْرُكُهُنَّ النَّاسُ: الطَّعْنُ فِي النَّسَبِ، وَالنِّيَاحَةُ، وَقَوْلُهُمْ: إِنَّا مُطِرْنَا بِنَوْءِ كَذَا، وَنَجْمِ كَذَا» ".
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ، وَفِيهِ كَثِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْمُزَنِيُّ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ.
#4010 4010 - And on the authority of 'Awf ibn Malik al-Muzani, who said: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "Three matters from the affairs of the Age of Ignorance (Jahiliyyah) the people will not abandon—or the people will not leave: defaming lineage, wailing, and their saying: 'We were given rain by such-and-such a lunar station, and such-and-such a star.'"

Dhe nga Auf bin Malik el-Muzeni transmetohet se ka thënë: I Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë: "Tri gjëra prej çështjeve të injorancës (Xhahilijetit) njerëzit nuk do t'i lënë – ose njerëzit nuk do t'i braktisin: atakimi i prejardhjes (prejardhjes familjare), vajtimi i të vdekurve dhe thënia e tyre: 'Na u dha shi nga ky pozicion hënor apo nga ky yll'."
