٤١٥٩ - وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: «أُتِيَ بِجِنَازَةِ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَتِيكٍ - أَوْ قَالَ: سَهْلِ بْنِ عَتِيكٍ - وَكَانَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ صُلِّيَ عَلَيْهِ فِي مَوْضِعِ الْجَنَائِزِ، فَتَقَدَّمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - ﷺ - فَكَبَّرَ فَقَرَأَ بِأُمِّ الْقُرْآنِ فَجَهَرَ بِهَا ثُمَّ كَبَّرَ الثَّانِيَةَ ثُمَّ كَبَّرَ الثَّالِثَةَ فَدَعَا لِلْمَيِّتِ فَقَالَ: " اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ وَارْحَمْهُ وَارْفَعْ دَرَجَتَهُ "، ثُمَّ كَبَّرَ الرَّابِعَةَ، فَدَعَا لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ، ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ».
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ، وَفِيهِ يَحْيَى بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ النَّوْفَلِيُّ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ.
#4159 4159 - And on the authority of Ibn ‘Abbas, who said: "A funeral bier of Jabir bin ‘Atik – or he said: Sahl bin ‘Atik – was brought, and he was the first for whom the funeral prayer was offered in the place of funerals. The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) stepped forward, said the Takbir, and recited the Mother of the Qur'an, reciting it aloud. Then he said the second Takbir, then he said the third Takbir and supplicated for the deceased, saying: 'O Allah, forgive him, have mercy upon him, and elevate his rank.' Then he said the fourth Takbir, supplicated for the believing men and believing women, and then performed the Taslim."

- Dhe nga Ibn Abbasi transmetohet se ka thënë: «U soll xhenazja e Xhabir bin Atikut

E ka transmetuar Taberaniu në 'el-Evsat', dhe në të është Jahja bin Jezid bin Abdilmelik en-Nevfeliu, i cili është i dobët.
