٤٢٠٣ - وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ: «لَمَّا قَدِمَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ - ﷺ - وَفَاةُ النَّجَاشِيِّ قَالَ: " اخْرُجُوا فَصَلُّوا عَلَى أَخٍ لَكُمْ لَمْ تَرَوْهُ قَطُّ ". فَخَرَجْنَا، وَتَقَدَّمَ النَّبِيُّ - ﷺ - وَصَفَّنَا خَلْفَهُ، فَصَلَّى وَصَلَّيْنَا، فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفْنَا قَالَ الْمُنَافِقُونَ: انْظُرُوا إِلَى هَذَا خَرَجَ
فَصَلَّى عَلَى عِلْجٍ نَصْرَانِيٍّ لَمْ يَرَهُ قَطُّ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ: ﴿وَإِنَّ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ لَمَنْ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ﴾ [آل عمران: ١٩٩]» إِلَى آخِرِ الْآيَةِ.
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ.
#4203 4203 - And on the authority of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, who said: "When the news of the death of the Negus reached the Prophet (pbuh), he said: 'Go out and pray over a brother of yours whom you have never seen.' So we went out, and the Prophet (pbuh) stepped forward and arranged us in ranks behind him. He prayed and we prayed. When we finished, the hypocrites said: 'Look at this man; he went out and prayed over a Christian infidel whom he has never seen.' So Allah revealed: {And indeed, among the People of the Scripture are those who believe in Allah} [Al-Imran: 199] until the end of the verse."

- Dhe nga Ebu Seid el-Hudriu ka thënë: «Kur i erdhi Pejgamberit (s.a.v.s.) lajmi për vdekjen e Nexhashiut, ai tha: "Dilni dhe falni namazin për një vëllanë tuaj që nuk e keni parë kurrë". Kështu ne dolëm, Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) doli përpara dhe na rreshtoi pas tij, ai u fal dhe ne u falëm. Kur u larguam, munafikët thanë: Shikoni këtë, doli
dhe u fal për një të pafe të krishterë që nuk e ka parë kurrë, kështu që Allahu zbriti: ﴿Vërtet, prej ithtarëve të Librit ka prej atyre që besojnë në Allahun﴾ [Al Imran: 199]» deri në fund të ajetit.
E ka transmetuar Taberaniu në el-Evsat, dhe në të është Abdurrahman bin Ebi ez-Zinad, i cili është i dobët.
